„Objekte”

At the beginning the pentants made of stainless steel are strongly determined by their construction, nevertheless during the realization - especially trough the application of the color - more intuitive acting became important.

Color is applied in several thin layers onto the steel body and abraded in part again. A vivide surface arises through the iridescent play of colors, that breaks the technical perfectionism of the construction.

The pendants seam fragmentary and there are also traces of use or ageing to bee seen. The fragements are completed by elements of gold. By means of the “reconstruction” they become wearable.

The concept has to do with found objekts. They seem to tell storys, which are written by taces of use into the object. To find the final shape the difficulty was to arrange an objekt, which is alike to a found objekt, but is not to be assigned to a certain origin and to certain time.

The object should be open, to the pictures and ideas of the observer.
